Cindy X: Historical context, interactive segment

Jeanne Zheng: "Here Lies a Communist Soldier" by Cho Chi-Hun, poem's presentation, author and literature context

Cindy C: Historical context, interactive segment

Pauline Wan: Historical context, interactive segment

 

***I DON'T KNOW IF WE HAVE TO ANALYZE THE POEMS, BUT JEANNE, PLEASE DO IT JUST IN CASE. (We’ll find out Tuesday in class if we have to)***

 

Of course, if any of you thinks of anything interesting during the presentation out of your role, say it! Just make sure to let others finish first.

 

Here's the breakdown of the presentation:

1.      Cindy C, Cindy X, then Pauline do historical context. I suggest that you present in this alphabetical order.

a. Monika holds up pictures/ posters of Korean War, and explains each one.

2. Ashley does political and cultural context.

3. Jeanne, then Monika does literature and author context.

4. Monika reads "Sea of Immortality" by Chong Chi-Yong. Possible analysis?

5. Jeanne reads "Here Lies a Communist Soldier" by Cho Chi-Hun. Possible analysis?

6. ***We do interactive segment. Cindy C, Pauline, and Cindy X go around asking the audience questions.

7. We answer audience’s question. Ashley, Miss Rothman liked you last time, so you can do most of it!
